writes:Hello! I have a question about wether a guy likes me or not. We are in the same grade and have most of our lessons together. He is fairly tall, like me and we are both thin and have several things in common. My friends keep on telling me what a great couple we would make and that he likes me, but I'm not a 100% sure. In lessons he often looks at me for a while and sometimes tries to sit next to me. I've tried the clock-trick which my friend told me about, and it worked several times. Today, he watched me for a while and I noticed, so I looked over and we had eye-contact for a while and suddenly he starts smiling. It made me feel really happy but I am a very shy person, and so is he, so I just looked away and probably flushed a bit. Also, I am friends with a couple of guys that other popular people like him, usually don't talk to, but whenever I'm near them, he comes and randomly starts talking to them. I'm not sure wether that's just being polite, or perhaps something else. Aaaarrrggg!!! I have no idea if he likes me or not. He keeps sending me these kind of signs and I never have the guts to ask him if he does, HELP!I appreciate any answer that can help me get a clue. Thank you :)

 I just shared the same suggestion to another young-ling, but here goes:
Sounds like he likes you. I think you need to be the daredevil. If you're too shy to talk to him about it, then do the next obvious thing. Are you on a hugging basis? Next time he hugs you, give him a quick kiss on the cheek and smile. Gauge his reaction- if he gets flustered, silent and speechless, well then, you just made his day. That will get the ball rolling because he'll probably make the next move. It sounds like it's been too scared to ask you out because you're shy and he doesn't know how you feel about him. So show him.
