reader, anonymous, writes (11 March 2008): I was in the exact same situation this year. I'm just now getting over it even though it causes me pain. If you want to get over him, try to avoid him and don't talk to him unless necessary. Don't be rude, but don't flirt with him either.
Also, try new activities or hang out with friends more often.

list your top 25 foods alphabetically
list your top 20 pizza toppings alphabetically
after you have done this you will notice when you did this you will have forgotten about the guy/girl. So just do things that have nothing to do with them, im not saying spend all day listing your friends alphabetically, maybe go somewhere you havent been before and make it have interesting. But dont lose your friendship with ths gy friendships are more important than anything.

And to tell u the truth, sometimes u just don't.But there r some things that u can do to try and get over him... You could try concentrating and focusing on everything else except him, and focus on other problems u may have and u may soon forget about him.Also at your age, you can believe that you've fallen for someone and after a few weeks you can be thinking about someone else.
