Hi, I also have depression and I went off sex with my bf but I didnt want it to end our relationship as he is supportive and understanding in every other way and heis really good to me. It got to be a big issue but I got us over this by helping to relieve his sexual desires in other ways by using oral and masturbation. I didnt particulary want to do these things with him but I realised that he has needs and it would of been selfish of me to deny him as it wasnt his fault. This was about 12 months ago now and everything is back to normal, my sex drive came back after I started medication and things are going great. Just hang in there and be prepared to put yourself out if you want to save your relationship.

Hello, I too went through depression with my husband. I dealt with it by taking my prescribed medications, therapy and exercise. The reason you two keep getting into arguments is that your boyfriend doesn't understand that depression is an illness. You can't just want to have sex and you can't just cheer up. He needs to get a better understanding as to how depression affects a person emotionally, physically and sexually.
