A female reader, angelDlite United Kingdom +, writes (7 December 2010):

angelDlite agony aunti think your mum yells at you because she is tired working and then coming home and having to do yet more work to look after you guys, cook, clean the house and make sure you have got clean clothes, food to eat, making sure you are all ok and getting to school etc. mums work hard and the job sometimes feels like the only break you get is when you are sleeping. this can make people feel stressed and sad. maybe you could take some pressure off your mum, even by doing small jobs for her. i am sure she would be pleased and feel better and if she is more relaxed she is more likely to be able to listen to you when you want to talk to her and she will be nicer to you.

xx
