She and I have soo much in common and whenever we're together, I feel this urge to tell her that I have feelings for her. I've also been having recurring dreams of a sexual nature about her for the past few months. She's a very open and understanding person, but I just don't know if I should tell her or not? Any Help?

reader, anonymous, writes (5 December 2010): I think this situation is understandable... you're a living, breathing male and are aroused by nice sights that you seeee... even if they are in your own family. I suppose you cannot help but find the attractive attractive. You can also not help your dreams, and should never feel guilty about them.
However, starting things up with a cousin qualifies as incestual, I believe, and certainly does not bode well in the long term (were you to become serious and have children!). If it is truly, truly bothering you and you feel the only way to get some relief is to vent to your cousin and feel her understanding, you can tell her. It is very possible, however, that it would make her very uncomfortable and change the dynamic of your relationship for the worse-r... You know her better than I, however, and could make a better prediction of her possible reaction.
