Try a registered herbal practitioner or better still a registered Naturopath. If you look up Naturopathy on the internet you will see their treatments are very good for IBS - treating the whole person not just symptoms. In the first instance go back to your GP but it may be worth considering some alternatives if the drugs are not suiting you. I have had great success through Naturopathy so this is why I suggest considering it. All the best to you.

Colofac tabs are suppose to deal with that symptom yes. bloating is just one of the few symptoms of I.B.S
I used to suffer with it and to be honest those pills did nothing for me.
I had 6 months of feeling bloated and had to ride it out til it passed. Stress made it worse for me but i didnt always know what brought on an attack until in the end it was there constantly during the day.
I would go to your doc and get some different meds. Different things work for different people.
