Are you a hypocondriac? Have you done this sort of thing before, worry and obsess over things of your body and on your body?
Sweetie, where is Dad and Mom?
Please see a doctor anyways as you are letting this fear get the better of you.
Don't let your fears become your world, your life.
*hugs*

Honey if you cant go to the doctor then what else are you going to do ? We cant fix you or tell you exactly whats wrong, but at least a doctor can take a medical look and see if its all okay. It could be something like a cold sore starting something very simple. At least if he does send you home saying nothing is wrong then you know it will all be okay. You may need to talk this over with someone as it does seem you are maybe a little obsessed with it and not on a healthly level. Did something spark this off ? Has something recently happend to you and this is your way of taking the focus off ? Lots of people have anxietys about things and they can be dealt with, if you go to your doctor and he tells you there is nothing wrong but you are still convinced there is then talk to the doctor somemore and explain your fears and concerns, they are proffesional people and will be more apt to deal with your situation than we are. Doesnt matter how much reassurance we give you here, it sounds like to you honey it isnt going to go away. Go to your doctor and tell him exactly what you have told us, you may need a different kind of help to deal with all this and they are the best people to be able to address this. Take care and go to the doctor sooner rather than later x

Your parents are not medical experts, nor are we. See a doctor now. Good luck and take care.

Hey Anonymous,
It just might be a nerve which means that there's nothing wrong. My friend has something similar - a little part of skin the size of a pencil tip that "beats" up and down right next to her nose. She freaked out and went to the doctor. He told her that sometimes nerves do that and it can last years, but there's no problem. That was almost 10 years ago and it is still happening (doesn't stop) and she's fine. I can't even really see it, but she notices it all the time. Maybe it's just that you're super self-concious like her?
If you're really concerned about it, you should visit your doctor. They'll be able to tell you if it's any danger to you or why it's even beating.
Take care.

You know your body far better than anyone else will so you can "see" things such as a pulse in the lip.
I don't know...when did this all start? Did a recent event happen that was life altering or was there a sudden change in your life schedule and so you have now developed this heightened awareness of what is wrong on/in/with your body?
More often than not, such thoughts are obsessive compulsive.
Put your mind at ease by seeing a doctor. If the doc says there isn't anything wrong...trust in it.
It could also be a nerve twitch which is associated with vitamin deficiency or a lack of a much needed vitamin.
Take Care.
