Hi, Good for you, the cold will eventually away. Your guy might want to pamper you because you are sick. Take care and good luck in the future.

It's Winter, well, at least, it's cold over here, so wear a scarf to cover your neck. It sounds obvious, but apparently, not so for many people.
Two: if you have a sore throat and wish to sooth it, try slices of ginger and Pepsi boiled.
Three: Green tea does wonders WITHOUT sugar. Never really understood Europeans and Westerners with mixing their Green Teas with sugar. ^_^

Why does this always happen just before a date?? Argh! :) The thing is, you can't rush the time it takes for it to go away. You can do things to cover the blotchiness, like using primer and foundation to conceal it, but if you're going to be sneezing and feeling sick, it's not gonna be worth the date! The cool thing is that canceling can actually be a good thing here. If it's a first date (is it?) and you cancel, it will give you insight into his character. If he gets upset and throws his toys out the cot (trust me, some guys do that!) then it's insight into his character (he wants everything his way, he's unflexible). But if he's cool with it and keen to reschedule, then he's a flexible guy and that's worth a date. Plus, waiting to see you will make him want you more. So use this to your advantage if you're still sick by the time of the date. It never hurts to play a little hard to get. Besides, if you're sitting at the dinner table, sneezing and sniffling, it can be a bit of a turn off!

Getting rid of a cold is a waiting game. It doesn't get cured over night and if it does, it wasn't a common cold to start.

Hi there, First of all you are putting too much stess on yourself to get better, which will only make it worse. I would let my date know that I just got a cold, reschedule the date, because I am sure he will not want to get your cold. It you can find something called Zicam, in an orange and white box, it's over the counter, no prescrtion needed. It is great, all last year, when ever I felt a cold coming on, I put one in my mouth let it melt, no water or food for about 15 minutes, I never had a cold. Costs a bit over $10.00, but it is worth every penny. Cold compresses on your face might help with the blotchiness. But really change the date to a later time. You probably would not enjoy it anyway, because of the oncoming cold. Take care, drink a lot of boiled hot water, dip a tea bag in, just for flavor, this will flush your system.
