I think that if you like this girl then your friend should want what makes you happy. Either way, you shouldn't let her come between your friendship!

Why would you want to risk the chance of affecting your friendship with your best friend over this one girl you like?A best friend should mean a lot more to you than a little crush. I'd keep it quiet about you liking her, it isn't worth it.

Whoever you like is upto you & not your friend. If he is really such a good friend he will accept your feelings for your sake.xxx

You are young. When I was your age, I had a different crush every month. Crushes come and go. Best friends, however, do not. Most crushes do not really ever come to anything. Is there some reason these two are enemies? Chances are if there is a reason your friend doesn't like this girl, then you might have the same complaint were you to get to know her. And if you want to know how your friend would feel, turn the tables. Do you have a "worst enemy"? How would you feel if your friend said "wow, he's so cute, I have the biggest crush on him".
I say keep your mouth shut, enjoy this girl silently from afar until the infatuation passes and stand by your best friend.

She won't be happy at all, that's only obvious. But what else could you do? Your best bet is to keep your friendship as you try to date this girl.Anyway, be sure she is the right one. Don't jeopardize your friendship for nothing.
