I have a crush on a girl at school. Does she like me too? Should I tell her how I feel?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

OK, so, I'm a girl and i like my classmate.

I have liked her for a few months now and i'm getting very depressed over this crush because she's really cute and when i look in the mirror me and other people find me really ugly and it makes me upset that i think i will never be good enough for anyone.

But in my mind, i don't think crushing on someone is to do with looks, more personality.

Anyway so this girl, I think i'm starting to see signs off her that she likes me back but I'm not so sure. She's always making eye contact and trying to touch me in awkward places like my stomach and my legs, sometimes my breasts. And she once put her head on my shoulder right next to my face and touched my shoulders and i felt electricity after that.

She's always playing with my hair because its really long. I can imagine a relationship with her, like i have daydreams of us two kissing and falling asleep on each other and sometimes it makes me cry that i can't talk to her about it, cause im scared of getting rejected and made a fool out of.

I've recently asked my best friend to help out and yesterday i asked her to tell he for me, but she missed her after class and couldn't find her afterwards.

My question is, does she like me back? And do you think i should tell her? Thankyou for reading.

Pssst.. Male responder... I think this is a young lady we're talking to here!

In that case, due to the unfortunate world we still live in, I think you should at least get a feel for how she feels about same sex relationships. If that's a green light, go for it OP!

Because you know what? If she says yes, wonderful. But if not, it's absolutely going to be a load of your mind.

I always say that if you have feelings for someone, it's better to face them and tell them, than never say anything at all and not know what could have been.

I also wouldn't hide behind your friend to tell her. Due to the sensitive nature of the question, she might be made uncomfortable and you might get the wrong answer!

Best of luck OP, but I don't think you'll need it. Sounds to me as though she indeed likes you! :)

A male reader, anonymous, writes (13 October 2012):

First thing you should know about females: they are attracted to confident males.

Be confident and ask her out. Act like you're a celebrity and she's just a fan. That's the way it works.

If she said no, don't lose your confidence. keep hitting on her. She will eventually surrender herself to you.
