At your age, your mind is still fresh. So falling for a boy at 12 is quite alright. It's when you're a 90 year old who falls for a 12 year old that makes it questionable. [ponders] Well, if you're 20, which is borderline to having a more defined mentality, and falling for someone who's general age standard is a lot less refined (generally, that is), can be considered questionable too.
I believe it's always about the mentality versus mentality status. Plus, it's never really wrong to fall for someone of almost any age or mentality, so long as you know it may benefit both of you mutually if you two were to have an intimate relationship. Of course, keep the law in mind as well. There are those who worship the law like coke fanatics and their razors and powder.

That is what that bump on top of your shoulders is for, think before you act, which is what you are trying to do by writing here, so you are on the right track in that.

 Ok, first off this is rare. Older women usually fancy younger guys at an older age, not at yours. Guess you started early! In fact, girls your age find older guys more attractive because of the mature factor (as girls mature faster than guys). But anywho, I honestly still think that 12 year olds are too young to get involved in relationships. Plus you said he has a gf at the moment, so theres already two reasons why I think you shouldnt pursue this guy. Hope this helps.
