writes: Hiya everyone :) Its not really a question question, just kind of needed some other people's views and opinions, or someone to listen really! I have a lovely family who i am quite close to, however when i was growing up they always kept themselves to themselves and don't really mix with anyone except each other. I've never had alot of friends, at school and college i had a few and i had a laugh, going out clubbing, shopping etc. I then took a few gap years and have seemed to lose all my friends. I have a beautiful boyfriend, who i spend all my spare time with. We used to live together, but times were hard with money so he moved back to be with his parents (a few hours drive). I am now at Uni where he lives but i only have to go two days a week, for the two days i am there i stay with him and then i just come home for the rest of the week with my family. They all work and are out of the house all day and the house seems so empty. My boyfriend has a good social network and is still in touch with alot of his friends. He still has friends where i live when he comes to visit, and then when he goes bac to his parents he has friends there aswell. I just feel so alone really. I am a really friendly girl and get on well with everyone i meet. Without sounding big headed im quite a pretty girl and get alot of attention from guys and stuff..but i feel having no friends is really effecting my confidence levels, and making me feel really paranoid about silly things in my relationship, i dont really want to talk to my boyfriend about it. I know alot of people..but just to say hi and bye. I just want a group to go out clubbing with or even someone to text when i have a fight with my boyfriend, or someone to chill out and go shopping with. I don't know what to do, i feel i'm wasting my life sat in this little bedroom on the conputer. Does anyone else out there have the same problems? Or anyone with any advice...?xx

Hey! Well that must be terrible to not have a close knit of friends to turn to and I can totally understand why that would upset you. As good as it is to have a boyfriend who seems so nice, its always much more of a comfort to have some friends who you can hang out with and who you can have there for you when the going gets tough! i guess the only advice I can really give you is to maybe try joining clubs or something along that line. Maybe get your boyfriend to go to dance lessons with you and you might meet people there. Or you could send one of your old friends a text if you have their number and ask them if they'd like to meet up for a night out, try to rekindle the friendship. Sorry I haven't got any better advice but best of luck and try not to let it get you down, I'm sure that plenty of people would like to be your friend. xx
