Aunty Em agony auntI think you need time apart from your current boyfriend. If you feel you 'love' your ex, go and see him before he leaves. You don't want to live your life wondering 'what if' - go and do it, if he doesn't feel the same then you'll at least know.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2008):

I wouldn't tell your ex about your feelings. If you love your current boyfriend and he doesn't get along with your ex, you should just cut the ties with him (afterall he's moving out of the country). Maybe you would feel better after you've had some closure with your ex? I think saying goodbye to your ex would benefit you more than telling him you love him.
