Just tell her mate......was in the same situation myself in my teens, plucked up the courage to tell the guy, didn't work out but at least it stopped the burning pain in my chest every time I saw him, there's nothing worse than not knowing....please go for it, for all you know she may feel the same, and knowing females (well, I am one!) they often won't say anything because they expect the guy to say something first....it's got to be worth a try?

But just to let you know when he finally did talk and ask me out I found it really flattering, he was a really sweet guy, and you know what its always the shyest guys who are the sweetest. Give it a shot, atleast talk to her at first, you have nothing to lose, and maybe you'll gain a friend.
