A male reader, The Pokemon Trainer United States +, writes (7 May 2010):

The Pokemon Trainer agony auntYeah, you're really fucked. But there's hope.

I'd say it shows some character that you're working, and most parents will appreciate the effort. But if you're really too miserable to live with your parents, perhaps you could convince them to help you move out? Get your own place, somewhere cheap. might be hard, but lotsa people go to work and school at the same time. If they won't let you leave, you can still get out. In many states, if you can prove that your living conditions suck, you can get a court to legally emancipate you from your parents (just understand that you'll be homeless if that happens). if you do that, and manage to graduate, scholarship sponsors look very favorably upon teen mothers and young people who support themselves. So, you could get a lot of government money and scholarships to put you through college.

But for now, you need to forget about the boyfriend The last thing his family needs is a goddamn moocher. Square away your own life before you have a relationship.

And if you have a baby... Adoption. Your life will be fucked if you have a child at your age. If you'll keep it, you'll regret it.
