writes:(parts re-written by mod for improved clarity)hi mr cupid,im 28 years old and single. when i got into vacation from abroad,i went to my grndma's province to visit them,then i met my pretty cousin. at her age of 18 she has lots of friends. she invited me to drink with them, then when we got home, my grandma's house was locked so we stayed outside, talking, sharing her worst relation with her x... and also she stop in college coz her brother is not supporting her studies, we hug and staired each other, and out of nowhere we kiss each other.. then my next two days staying there we had sex twice.. now im back at my work in othre country and we have a regular communication... my question is 1st: is there a great risk if we get baby... 2nd pls give as advice in my situation... im so confused of many things.family matters,etc....hoping for your advice,sherby

reader, anonymous, writes (10 February 2010): First of all relationships among cousins is not considered incest Everyone on this site can argue about that but if you do your research you will find that Nope is NOT incest! Secondly the chances your kids having any kind of birth defects are 2% higher then any other random couple, For random couples is 2% as well ONLY if you two are first cousins that will increase your chances to 4% anything other then that there is completely no risk at all!!! About the family part yes that will be difficult but I personally think you should give it some time before you try telling the family first give the relationship some time to see if it is going to work out there is no point in starting world war 3 among your family for something that then turns out to just fall through the cracks!! And yes the age difference might also cause things to be harder for you But over all I wish you luck!!

reader, anonymous, writes (9 February 2010): There is a risk that the baby (if you didnt use protection) can be born with defects. Because this is close to incest, that increases the chances of children born with defects. And yes, your family will not take this lightly. So you are in for a lot of trouble if this comes out in the open. You are also 10 years older than her and will probably be held responsible! Depending on your family they might not want anything to do with you, at least for a while.
