writes: For the past three months, I have been seeing a man who is more into "just because" presents than past boyfriends have been. Frequently, these presents are beautiful sets of lingerie. As a result, I find myself dressing in fancy bras and panties much more often than I ever did before. Here's the (embarrassing) problem: I often become noticeably aroused at the sight of myself in this gorgeous lingerie, whether I'm wearing it for my boyfriend (and thus anticipating sex) or not! This doesn't happen when I see other women in their underwear in movies or pictures, so I think it's very safe to say I'm not a lesbian, or even bisexual. But now I'm worried that I'm some kind of narcissist. How can I stop this creepy behavior while not giving my boyfriend he idea he's done anything wrong?

You are anticipating sex with the incredibly thoughtful and generous paramour you have been lucky to find smitten with you and who gave it to you so that you would feel incredibly beautiful and special .
I don't see it being an aspect of narcissism. Are you the type that is in love with her own reflection? You are feeling aroused because you really love this guy and how he makes you feel.
