I really like my sisters friend, they have been friends for years, they met because they used to work together and have been like best friends ever since.

Im older than her but I like her she used to live near us but then moved away to Cyprus and I went over for a holiday and while I was there we met up.

Nothing happened between us but I cant stop thinking about her I bought her a present and sent it to her for Christmas and since this I havent heard a word from her and neither has my sister!! She blames me and says that she is too embarressed to even contact her now, and that I have ruined their friendship

Please help I like this girl but I would rather my sister had her friend back should I contact her??

Dazzerg agony auntThis one is a bit of a mystery. It's possible she is embaressed. What was the present? Was it something that intimated your feelings? Obviously I would say there are more mundane explanations however going with the embaressment I think you are best to let your sister make the first contact.

Contact from you might push her further into her shell while your sister at least has the chance to coax her out of it. If it is possible then maybe your sister should try the personal touch, going round to her house maybe.
