writes: i don't know what to do, i recently broke up with my ex last week and apparently i broke his heart. i told his i wasn't ready for the commitment just yet and wanted time to work on myself. he told me he loves me too much and needs to cut down because its hurting him. i feel really bad and don't want him to do this because i REALLY do love him i was just holding back and got scared. he began distancing himself, not calling me and hardly texting me. we talked the other day and he told me he's confused, i asked him if he was confused on whether he wanted to get back with me. and he said no, he wants to be with me, and is still in love with me. he told me i need to prove myself like he did (we were best friends and dated then he kissed another girl) but he says he doesn't know how i should go about doing this.... i want him back. how do i do this before its too late? :(( i really love him and want to be with him. i just freaked out.

As a boy, his main nightmare is that you are seeing another guy. He wont tell you this but trust me on this one. Just reach out to him on a regular basis everything will be fine.
