writes:I have been living with this man for over a year and a half now...we have several animals together..I have met, and have a relationship with his family and friends...It seems to me that we are taking steps to lenghthen our future together...BUT..he works all year round..out of state..This past year he was gone physically over 8 months..We communicate over the phone daily...I live in his home..He even leaves me his debt card when He leaves..just in case I need extra money....MY CONCERN, is: I found a condom in his computer bag this last time he was at home,between jobs..He spent over 4 months on Canada... from the info. on the condom it was distributed in Canada, expiration date of 2011.......................................It is driving me crazy...I don't know how to ask him about it...In some ways I don't want to know...Than I wont have to leave him....He makes me so very happy....HOW DO I DiSCRITELY FIND OUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED.....

You should ask him. You have the right to know. Mostly I have found that condoms are sold in a package not sold one by one. Its possible that he was lonely and needed some attention so to spack. I think you need to confront this man about a thing or two. Best to you I know I wasn't much help... So sorry for what your going through at this time.

 i agree, just ask him. either way it's better to know. don't sound accusing when you ask because it could start an arguement. just say that you found the condom and were curious why he had it. make any other decisions based on his response.

Just ask him. I don't know what the "shelf-life" of a condom is, but if it's more than 3 years you don't have a problem.
