DrPsych agony auntMobile phone companies won't generally give out such information as they are bound by data protection law. I totally understand that you liked this boy, and vice-versa, but you also have to ask yourself if you really like him or if this is a holiday-crush. You don't know where he is from and you don't have his phone number so it is a bit of a non-starter. Unless he was incredibly shy, then I am sure he would have made sure he had your contact details if he wanted them. If you start doing detective work to find out where he comes from and you eventually catch up with him then you may find he reacts badly. Some people mistake enthusiasm for a stalker. BUT, if you really want to find him you should write him a letter with your details, and ask the camp site management to forward it to him - if you locate a kind-hearted soul in the main office then I am sure they will indulge your request without breaking the confidentiality of their records.

Yos agony auntNot easy. Did he give you any other information that might help you track him down? Like what school or college he goes / went to, or maybe any clubs or groups he's a member of? Or maybe any website communities he's on a lot? His name + these and google and you might get lucky.

If not the best you can do is phone the campground. I don't usually recommend dishonesty, but it might be worth coming up with some (realistic) story to tell the campground so that they'll give you his or his families number. Like maybe he lent you something and you want to return it? Or, you could ask them to give him your number, meaning he then has the option to call you, but that you can't call him. Which would be 'safe' for him (although possibly very frustrating for you!)

Anja agony auntHow do you get his number then if you don't know where he lives? Did you not talk about where each of you came from? Do you even know his name eh?!! Maybe if you know his surname you could go through the phone book...but it could be a waste of time. What about asking the camping place for details? Mmmm doubt they would give you info... well if he really liked you he should have thought about giving you his number. Maybe he just wanted a holiday fling and nothing else?
