A reader, anonymous, writes (20 February 2006):

Exactly the same thing was/is happening with me. Instead, I am on the 'receiving' end.

My gf, whom we've dated since Dec of 2004 had recently told me she wasn't sexually attracted to me. She isn't very affectionate, and she doesn't want to do anything for me - though her brain wants to, just not her heart. I tried to break us up for reasons on top of these minor ones, but she just won't leave me! AFTER THREE TIMES!

Anyway, it mind boggles me, or mind-boggled me. Until recently, when we talked about it again, and she wants to do the STP with me this July. She said it's possible that this ordeal - training and actually doing the STP may strengthen us. So after some false alarms and false starts, things are kind of getting better. Mind you though I am skeptical, I am also secretly optimistic.

Your non-question sounds more like what your bf should do, rather than what you should do. My mom thought it was quite selfish for my gf to stay with me but not try to do anything with me.

Here's something that may make you think: To my gf, I may be the perfect husband, but unfortunately, I am far from the perfect boyfriend. ;o]
