I am in a 4 year relationship. I wouldn't call it an abusive relationship but my friends do. He is very over protective over me but somtimes it feels good 2 kno somone cares so much. We'v had good times aswel as bad. Last year, September,he left me, then in November he wanted me back. I reckon he left me for somone els,but he won't admit it. It really broke my heart and I'm trying to forget but I can't. I want to let the whole relationship go, but I'm afraid he'l make it hard.. as I have tried before. Calling me, threatining to kidnap me and calling my house phone constantly etc., I feel trapped like there's no way out my box..

A female reader, anonymous, writes (16 December 2009):

If you want to end the relationship don't let him instil fear in you. Get some support from friends and family. Could someone answer your landline instead of you? Could you just not answer when he calls your mobile? If he continues to threaten you, tell him you are going to call the police. There is a way out of your box.
