We are both in school (I am 20, he is 25) and talked about moving in together... he eventually said he thought it would be bad for our relationship after talking to a few people. This has me a bit upset. We never fight or anything. The only real problem in our relationship is my occasional mood swings.Recently he has also talked about us going on an international trip next year (after we graduate) and wants to take me to on a weekend trip for my upcoming 21st (which is nice, but not how I imagined my 21st). These kind of things make our relationship seem more serious....which conflicts with him not wanting to live with me next year. I also have tried to get out of him his actual plans after graduation as I plan on joining the peace corps (a 2 year commitment). He almost took offense to this, saying he doesn't want to plan three years in advance. It is legitimate but I would like to be emotional prepared for whatever may come when I join the peace corps, I will likely be applying in July. Some people have told me to end it with him now because of my plans, but it is the last thing I want to do.I do not know where we stand right now, i really love him but I feel that our relationship is under a little stress... I now almost want to take a brake to calm things down. I just wish I knew if I it is a real lasting relationship (with his talk of future big trips) or if it would end with my international service.
