She was always breaking plans, and she had the audacity to tell me that she didn't feel like I'd "swept her off her feet", which is the kind of guy I said I was not long before we started dating. As her boyfriend I did whatever I could to make her happy and make her life a little easier. I'd pay for meals and drinks and what have you, but she was expecting flowers and gifts all the time, or so it seemed. When it ended I didn't feel any great sense of sadness or loss, because she was a big waste of time. But now she's started seeing another guy at college, and whenever I see them together I can't help but feel jealous. I don't get it. She shouldn't feel like anything special to me, so why does it bug me? My guess is that it's because I don't have anybody anymore. I'd really like a proper relationship, but I haven't had one for a long time now. Is there something wrong with me?

Your still young, relationships come and go. theres still plenty of time left in the world to find someone whos suited to you.
Its natural to feel jealous of an ex, even if the relationship wasnt that special, seeing the fact that they have moved on and your not involved in their life anymore may be the reason why,who knows lol.The more you acept the idea that this is the reality of things the easier it is to move on, you find that in time things will get easier to ignore and jealousy wont creep in anymore.
