He just got his DREAM job three days ago at a stressful law firm he has to quit is crappy job and start his new job right away. He's been in a strange, quiet, depressed kind of mood the past few weeks while he did the interviews and waited for the firm to get back to him. He wouldn't call me for days and ignored all my text messages to him (I'm stressed out too about graduating and writing my thesis). I expected him to happier about getting this job! But instead he seems just as stressed out as before. He thought he would have a lot of time off before his new job started and promised he would visit since I haven't see him since the summer. But his new job starts next week. So i was bummed about that but still excited for his job! I asked him when I could come see him, like thanksgiving break or something and he just replied with "i dont know what my family is doing" and he hasn't brought up me coming to live near him when I do graduate. Granted he hasn't even started his new job yet so I was probably being pushy asking about visits when he hasnt even stepped foot in his office yet. I just feel ignored and unloved and I guess i'm being selfish but I dont know what to do when someone cant even give you 2 min of their day to talk to you on the phone or respond to a sweet text message. I know this job is VERY IMPORTANT but i feel pushed to the side when im only trying to help him relax about the job and be excited for him.
