A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

please help me, i dont normally ask for help but i need some advice and this seems like a good place to get some.

i recently split up with my ex. we agreed to be friends, and so far - not bad. my guy friend, who is my ex's friend, broke up with his girlfriend. who is my best friend. so we were all single.

so his ex is treating my guy friend like shit, to be quite honest, and me and my guy friend got quite close, having both been through a break up.

so my story starts here - me and my guy friend, lets call him C, kissed on a truth or dare. From then on i start to fancy him a bit, but i knew nothing could ever happen.

then around about a week later (so today, basically, i got a little tipsy. not drunk - i was still sane, believe me, but i acted a bit stupid. So C admitted he fancied me, and ofc i do too, but we both have a lot of baggage and i dont want to lose my friendship with my ex or my best friend, or C. I wouldn't normally consider going out with someone like him, we're fairly different on most levels, but we just click so well. Plus, he's telling me a lot of things that my ex didn't like, you're beautiful, i love you the way you are, you're crazy but i love you etc etc... and we kissed (several times, , it was the only time really we were gonna have together)

so do i go out with him? do i leave it? do i stay friends? how do i tell him this? i want to go out with him, but im so worried that it will get too complicated, too easily.
