Question - (6 November 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 6 November 2008)
A male Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi, I work with this girl that I am interested in and I think she likes me too. She and I flirt all the time when were together at work. Two weeks ago she even asked me for my cell number. So we exchanged numbers and all. After that would text each other like every day. Everything seemed pretty good until I asked her if she wanted to go see a movie. She told me she couldnt go that day because she had to go to her grandmothers. So I am unsure if this is just a lame excuse right now not to go with me. Now she hasn't been texting me lately either and when i texted her she didnt seem as interested in talking to me like before although nothing really happened between us. It was just like all of a sudden she doesnt talk to me like before although I havent seen her for a week now so i dont know how she'll be when I see her in person but ya does it sound like a bad excuse to not go with me and even if it is then why would she flirt with me constantly and even ask me for my number and then be like this? I dont think shes just a flirt because she doesnt flirt woth the other guys at work only me.

So ya thats why I was wondering what should I do? Wait until I see her again and see how she acts and if she acts like before then believe her or what? I'm confused and don't know what to think? I'm just trying to see if she actually likes me or not because I don't wanna waste my time and get my hopes high. So ya any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fatherly Advice agony auntBiologically speaking . . . . I'd say give her about a week with no pressure, just be nice, Then ask again. BTW You might try for a date that would involve more talking time than a movie.
