A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My friends and family don't like my boyfriend, they think hes a thief and we did catch him once with a cell phone but he did have a good excuse for how he had it. he had a phone that looked just like the one that was stolen/lost and they both ended up in his bag. they also think that he uses me cuz i gave him a place to stay in a hotel for a month. he has no job. but i told him that it was too much for me and he left but we're still together. I'm afraid that if i stay in the relationship then its going to ruin my friendship with my friends. I'm not sure what's right. I need some advice please..

Aprt from saying he's your boyfriend what does this guy do for you?

Because if you seem to be flavishing things on him with very little back from him, I could see why friends and family may not like him.

Also love is blind- it is very rare that both your friends and family dislike a boyfriend. He must be giving off some very bad vibes. Please don't push away people that have been there for you, for a boyfriend.

It is okay for them to want more for you then a homeless, jobless guy. You deserve more, you can get more. Stop feeling sorry for him!
