I don't want to come on too heavy but I do want to tell him how I feel... any ideas?

A male South Africa, anonymous writes:

I was looking on a local dating website I'm a member of, and found this irresistably cute guy's profile. I went and read it, and really felt like this was the guy for me! We've started chatting, and it seems to be going well. My only problem is I don't know how to communicate to him exactly how great he makes me feel when he messages me, or when I read through his profile. I also don't want to say something too strong and scare him off. How can I show him how interested I am?

d4u04 agony auntHave you met up with this guy in real life yet? If not, then you could hint around for a meet-up and tell him in person that your heart skips a beat when you see messages from him, but not in a kind of stalker tone of voice, just soft and warm... I'm digressing but you get the idea.

If you have met him before then you should again, tell him at the next meeting, I really look forward to your messages, etc.

Alternatively if you don't want to fish around for meetings, you could just tell him out-right how much you like receiving his messages. Maybe tell him in a message on the dating site, such as "I've been thinking about you today, if feels great when I get messages from you and take this as a hint to send me more..." or something to that effect, then build on it from there. Subtlety is a great tool to have in these situations.

Good luck hun x
