I am overweight and lack the confidence to ask guys out. I have always spent my Fri/Sat nights waiting for the 'friend with benefits' to call me. Now, because we live together as roommates and his girl is coming home that leaves me alone. I welcome any advice I can receive.

It seems as though you may have some self-esteem issues. I think you should focus more on yourself rather than on the men you want to date. Working out and treating yourself better definately helps boost your self confidence. Once you begin to love yourself, other people will just naturally gravitate towards you; and maybe then you won't be spending weekends alone. Just try to live life and go out with your girl friends. Good luck!!

Well, my best advice would be to keep the physical part out. This way you will know that the man is sincere about a relationship.Good Luck :) hope it works!
