He's always been very helpful in helping me in the new role, and just a very friendly guy, well liked in the office. I actually thought he was gay when I first met him, but then learned he has a gf. He gets quite protective over me when were out for after work drinks. And one colleague cheekily pointed it out in front of us. And more recently I started feeling slightly nervous and uncomfortable around him, to the point of embarrassingly blushing around him. But I've never had thoughts about fancying him at all. I don't want to feel like this because hes a great colleague to go to help for, and I don't want to lose out on this if i can't stop feeling like that and dont want to ask him for advice.I don't understand why this is happening??? anyone had this before?? I try to just be normal, but sometimes the uncontrollable blushing happens. I wouldn't even want to date anyone from my office, its too small. but thanks for your imput. I do agree nothing is happening, and know there will never be. my question is why i sometimes go like this. i find it annoying and want it to stop.
