A male reader, PeterPan United States +, writes (29 May 2010):

PeterPan agony auntIn my opinion, having better control over your anger would be the best, most civilized approach to life. At the very least, you'd have more friends and less concerns about burning bridges. In the professional/working environment, a short tempter will definitely alienate you and possibly limit your future.

But, caging up your anger isn't good either. You need to find ways to release some of the pressure and not bottle it inside. Some ways, not necessarily ones you have to follow, but a friend of mine that use to have a short fuse started long-distance running and it greatly helped him deal with his stresses. Another friend took up meditation. There are many options available to you. I suggest you find something that suits you.
