 You subconsciously like him but you don't like him when you see him. There is a conflict between the outer man and the inner man.
Love from afar is wonderful and perfect and when you come near, you see all his faults.
Your inner person like him but you are resisting the urge and thats why the spirit keep on pestering you.
Maybe cupid shot an arrow with his name at you . LOL!

 it looks like you are in over your head you should never walk over some1 every one has feelings u need to sit down with a pen and paper and write the pro's and con's about him consontrate on this if you decide you dont like him walk away but if you change your mind its no going back so take your time no need to run headon into it take things slow hope this helps x x x
