 You have got to tell him how you feel sooner rather than later. The longer you leave it the harder it will become for you so tell him now.
If you don't tell him your are effectively leading him on giving him false hope. Sometimes in this life we have to be cruel to be kind, sure he will be heartbroken but over time he will be thankful that you were upfront and honest and diden't lead him on.
tell him now, it will be a weight off of your shoulders too.
