writes: What is she thinking? The new girl, got her number. She had a BF that shes known since they were babies, and he moved a long ways away. Shes really shy and i am too. A couple nights ago(friday night) i let my friend use my phone and he texted her "I love you..." she said "I love you too..." and things went from there, the next morning she said that she forgot her phone at a friends before my friend texted her. Ever since then I will text her and half way through a conversation she'll just stop and ignore me. After a day of ignoring me, she just says "going swimming, text you later xoxo" now she just doesn't really add to conversations that I start... is she playing hard to get? I think she has a friend that is telling her im bad and everything, so i thought maybe i should just back down and not say anything for a week, but give her signals in school, like a smile and a wink, it will tell her im not gonna take on a group of people against me. I really really like her and dont wanna back down, I sent her a text earlier today that says: "I know im kind of annoying because I text you all the time... Its just that your always on my mind and I really wanna be friends if not more. I understand if your not ready to date yet, and I know how it is to lose a very good friend, and how it is to be new and not fit in... Ive moved 6 times to different schools and out of all of them I haven't wanted to be friends with anyone more then i wanna be your friend :) can you tell me if you like me? I like you alot and cant stop thinking about you... I feel really bad for not saying how i feel in person, but I feel like your ignoring me... did someone say something about me and thats why? and, was I really talking to you on friday? Be completely honest I really wanna know what you think about all of this, I wont judge you for anything that you say, I just wanna know the truth and how you feel :)" She just said "I don't know, I need time to think"By the way, were in grade 9 so I can't really drive her anywhere...
