you're judging him on the past relationships. what you need to do, is realsie he isn't your previous partners, and i'm sure he's not out to hurt you.
speak to him, tell him your concerns, explain you've been hurt in the past and your being causious and want to take things slow and at your pace. if he likes you and respects you, he'll understand, if he gets aggitated and runs a mile, yuo'll have had a lucky escape.

do you like this guy? does he respect you? do you trust him? if these answers are all yes, then go for it. If any of them you answered no, then you and him arent ready to go out with each other yet.
