I used to get attracted to girls when i was younger (now i am 24), but my shyness prevented me from relating with them at an intimate level. This along with some failures i had in relating with opposite sex, has made me lose any kind of sexual attraction for them. Even there has been instances when girls tried to showed some interest and i backed off or did not find it any good. I bother about how my life would turn out without having any such relationship. I also have a belief that is quite opposite to those of other guys in my culture, who think that it is filthy for women to like sex. I think it to be quite normal. I met a sexologist and he said i was quite healthy and normal as well. What could be wrong then, with my lack of interest in opposite sex?

You most likely just haven't met the right woman. In some people there is a natural state of celibacy and it certainly doesn't mean they are homosexual they just have no interest in either sex, sexually I mean. But I think it's just a matter of time and meeting the woman who can touch your soul. Hang in there Buddy, these things always happen when you least expect them, she may be right around the corner.
