I did not take him seriously at first, there were rumours that upset us and we've hurt each other's feelings, now I want him back... did I mention we're all young?

Ok I meet this guy about 2 months ago, at first I didn't take him seriously because I've been hurt in the past but after he kept begging me to take in seriously i did! Everything was fine untill someone told him they saw me and another dude out eating lunch together (which wasn't true) but what could I do except deny it. He said he was soo hurt by it and honestly i believed him and still do to this day. I never doubted how he felt about me untill 1 day he told me we were never together in the 1st place. In retalitation and not meaning it I told him I only wanted him cause he was going pro and he was handsome and i had a boyfriend anyway. That really hurt his feelings alot! I was told this several times by our mutal friends and his family. we got back on talking terms and well because Iwent back to not trusting him, i went through his phone( i know it was wrong) and discovered that he was talking to another girl. telling her everything he told me. I asked him about it and he said yes he liked her and had only started talking to her when I told him I only wanted him because he was going pro(that much is true from wwhat I could see because they hadn't talked untill the day after i was mean to him). That hurt and we still talked every once and again and he would say no on has every treated me better than you. When asked why he still talks to her his answer is bcause shes pretty. I decided to leave him alone because I don't play second or side by side to any female ever, Im to good of a woman to share a man when I can have my own. Did I mention that we're all young? Im 22 hes 19 and the new girl is 16. I didnt want to talk to him soley because he was sooooooo young. yes I know we're only 3 years a part but I own a house and 3 business that I started on my own so Im not your average 22 year old. He says he wasn't going to keep her he just doesn't trust me and he wishes that he could cause he knows I would be good for him. what should I do?
