A male United States age 30-35, *cameronchandler writes:

Ok so I have this friend that I like a lot. We've been friends for a couple years but I never wanted to ask her out because of our friendship. In the past couple months we've been talking a lot more. Over the summer I asked her if she wanted to go on a date but she said that she didn't want anything serious because we were both going to different colleges and we were going to meet new people. We went on the date and nothing really happened but I still had fun with her. I moved away to college first and since leaving she's been texting me almost everyday (she texts me first) and she asked me to get a skype so we could chat face to face. Last week she kept asking me when I was going to come visit her and stuff and I finally got to go visit her last weekend. She made me a cd and we hung out all day Saturday and at the end of the night I was leaving to stay with a friend and I held her like I was going to kiss her but I got scared and told her that I missed her a lot instead. Over the night my phone died so I just went home the next morning and after I charged my phone I saw I had a text from her. She asked where I was but I was already back at my college and then she asked "are you happy about that?" I said no and that I missed her she said miss ya too but something seemed wrong. Since last saturday she's just been kind of short with me and I don't know what to think. Can someone help me out?

rcameronchandler agony auntShe's doesn't text me as much, like the past couple weeks she would text me every day. Also, when I text her, the responses she gives me are short and without any exclamation or smiles or anything and she doesn't try to keep the conversation going.
