writes: My stepmom and dad are getting married in a few months. I honestly dislike her. I don't like the way she treats him. She puts him down all the time and he just lets her. If I say some of the things I would be grounded for a week. I fight with her almost everyday. And it feels like she trying replace my late mom (she died when I was 13 and I rather not talk about it) who was 10x better then this cow. What should I do. Reply to this Question

She's not trying to replace your mum, she is just trying to marry your dad. But since you and your dad come as a package, she is trying to be a step mum to you. She'll never BE your mum, and she knows that. She just has to try and be a bit of a parent to you as she can't just ignore you and treat you like a housemate.
You say you fight every day. Have you tried just saying "ok" when she says stuff to you. Say it in a calm way and then she won't have an excuse to yell at you.
As for putting your dad down, that is his choice. As long as he is happy then you just have to smile for him and leave them to it.
Be civil and work hard at school and then as soon as you are 18 you can head straight out the door and off to uni and not come back.
I find I have a really good relationship with my parents now that I live a couple of hundred miles away.
