Toria agony auntEvery girl same as every guy have a different type that they like and go for I personally like a guy to be tall but that isn't that difficult as I'm short lol.

You need to build on your own confidence and love and respect the things you have going for you, the person you really are as being a female myself I would be more inclined to be attracted to someone that holds a fantastic personality and carries it well than someone who has a perfect body and nothing else going for them or nothing else on offer but that.

The best relationships are the ones built up, where people get to know each other, their personalities click and fall in love with the person.

Good luck :o)

To be honest its personal preference like some men dont like blondes some girls wont go out with "a bag a bones" nothing better than having a nice rounded guy to cuddle up to on a cold winters night but be comfy with yourself most big guys I know have big personalities too. let yours "shine through"

Abacadaba agony auntwhat you lack in appearence you can make up with personality and style, alot of 'fat' people sort of give up, and dont even try and dress right, do thier hair etc. I suggest looking at your wardrobe, maybe do a make over and dress to suit both you and the ladys, and do something with your hair. And be a 'teddy bear' meaning be as lovable and kind as possible, a good way to 'woo' girls.

But dont give up on the weight loss, it might not seem like its doing anything but im sure it is, try cycling, keeps you better entertained than walking. And set a route (say a mile, or 2) and do it in regular routines, like once a day, once every 2 days etc. Good luck with it all

btw whoever said girls dont go for fat people is a liar.

Well lose some weight. If you're serious about it then walk for more then 20 minutes - more like 30 or 40 or more.

Yos agony auntOver 65% of adults in the US are overweight, and over 30% are obese. If girls never went for fat guys then we'd be seeing a huge drop off in the birth rate, which we are not.

One of my best friends is very overweight, and has a very nice and attractive girlfriend. It's because he's cool, considerate and intelligent. Almost all women would rate these aspects more important them to physical appearance. Remember that women are much less concerned about the appearance of their boyfriend than men are about the appearance of their girlfriend. Its just the way we are made.

Would you go for a "fat" girl?

If the answer is yes, then my answer would be that there are also girls that also go for fat guys.

If your answer is no... well.. I have no answer for you.

People find different things attractive in people. Some may not put much importance on whether or not someone is overweight, whereas for others it might be of huge importance.

The best advice I can give you is to not worry about how attractive your weight is to the opposite sex but concentrate on becoming comfortable with YOURSELF.

When you are comfortable with your own body, you will find that women will naturally be more attracted to you. I have found that, generally, self-confidence and personality is probably a bigger attraction to women than physical appearance.

well ppl like different things. i personally dont care about looks and just go for personality. i really dont care what he looks like!

but i'm afraid to say a lot of girls are shallow!

but honestly if i had to choose i think i would prefer a boy thats big built... not fat... just big built cos then when they hug you i feel really safe lol cos you have something to hold onto!

but a skinny boy just doesnt do it for me and more girls dont like skinny boys - a lot of them like normal weight.

you WILL find someone soooon, just stop looking and she will come when u least expect it!

i think it depends on preference....some girls, like me, like bigger guys...i wouldnt date a slim guy, cos skinny guys dont float my boat. just be yourself and the right girl will love you for who you are. good luck

kellyO agony auntHi,

Some of my female friends have boyfriends that are overweight so i dont think that is necessary true. Of course u have some individuals who have certain preferences and like guys that are slim or built but others prefer to go with what is in the heart and who treats them better. So if u are a good guy i'm sure u will find someone just be patient.

For health reason i would encourage u to still maintain working on your weight and get advise from the gp and dieticians. It is very hard loosing weight i used to be slightly overweight myself and had to go on a strict diet and exercise program. It took me awhile to loose them but u have to exercise patience, disipline and dont expect overnight miracles.

Goodluck dear

Hi

Every body has different taste. In my experience i have found that a lot of girls like to have a man who is larger than them so it makes them feel slim, i would never go out with a guy who is smaller than me, i would feel awkward. Getting onto the weight loss thing, if you are going to the gym and then walking every day and you are on a diet and you have been doing this for a year and have not shifted anything then i think it would be wise for you to seek advice. There are ways to lose weight/fat. basic rule of thumb is calaries going in to calories going out, to lose fat you must make sure that your intact in less than your output. Ask an instruture at your gym to give you an understanding of how the body works, then you wont feel you are putting all the effort in and getting nowhere.

good luck, you can totally do it if you want to. xx
