writes: my boyfriend and i have been seeing each other for 2 and a half years. but i cant seem to talk to him at all. i trust him more than anyone else and i feel safe when im with him but i cant seem to talk about anything meaningful with him. he keeps telling me that i can trust him and that i'll eventually need to talk to him but i can't seem to think of anything to say when i do go to talk to him. i have really low self esteem and i think it is starting to hold me back because i cant seem to tell him anything that he doesn't want to hear. if any one can tell me something that will help please write back.

Its hard to express yourself sometimes to the person you love because you frightened of what they might think. Having these thoughts spiralling in your head is only going to keep holding you back.
But you dont know until you do. Wait for the right opportunity and take a deep breath and say what you want. I have ruined relationships in the past coz of this and have learnt the lesson the hard way.
Be brave, he wont bite. He loves you remember that.
