Concealer is very heavy and will look very odd. Why did it cost so much? Max Factor here in the US is really cheap. Do you have department stores in your area that offer to do your make up for free? They do this here in order to sell their products. They always find the right shade for you.
After that, once you find your right shade you might want to buy makeup on line, perhaps from the US if shipping isn't too costly. Max Factor is one of the less expensive brands out this way.
Concealer doesn't blend well the way foundation does, which is a lot more fluid, like a cream. As it is, make up experts always recommend concealer in a few spots- under foundation.

I'd go back and ask at a Max Factor stall in one of the department stores.
I don't see why eye concealer can't be used on none Eye areas.
If it's only to cover up minor blemishes then you aren't going to be putting it on with a trowel anyway.
Good Luck!! xx

I would keep it and use it as an eye concealer only. Why not ask for some foundation testers in a few different shades. Most places are happy to give you testers and they can last a week or so. That way you can still have a foundation for your face while you save up for another one.
I see you're from the UK so why not go into Boots and use your advantage points (if you save them) and buy a foundation with them if you have enough points.

It may make you break out if it has a thicker consistency, which under eye concealers usually tend to have. It also takes about 2 weeks for a pimple to come to the surface, so if it is causing you to break out you won't know for a little while. If you don't have sensitive skin it may not matter, but I know this would probably make me break out. Check the ingredients and look them up on google to see if they are non-comedogenic, which means they won't clog pores.
