I am home right now with my son who has had his tonsils removed so I am taking care of him and trying to organize the house. I have about 7 loads of laundry and a dirty bedroom. I am feeling overwhelmed but I am going to take it little by little. I also work full time from 9:00-5:30 everyday so I am home today. Trying to get as much as I can done. Thanks so much Everyone.!!!

I only have 2 kids, but I knew I couldn't handle fulltime work, so I decided to sacrifice some things (we remodeled our home instead of buy new, buy 5 year old vehicles...) and work part-time.But if that's not possible, do these things:-Get 8 hours sleep! (you can handle just about anything on a good night sleep)-Wash 1-2 loads laundry/day to avoid pile ups-Get up 1/2 to 1 hour earlier to just sit quietly and have a cup of coffee. It's amazing how this changes the 'attitude' of the day.-Don't be afraid to ask for help when things at home are past the point of no return :) Hope this helps...

When you then get started with the work you will feel so much more energized and it goes quicker.

Before you go to bed each night lay out the clothes the kids will be wearing the next day. Make the lunches if you have to. Do as much as you can so that in the morning you can enjoy your morning coffee. As your kids get older and used to the routine then they can pitch in and help out. I know where you are coming from, I used to count on getting to work just to get some rest!
