I am scared that she won't be my friend any longer then start talking about me behind my back, once I disclose my secret tendencies. What to do?

if i do tell my friend that i think i like girls i am scared that she won't be my friend then start talking about me behind my back. The thought of that makes me sad because we have been friends for 2 years. can someone please give me ideas or tips to tell her this because i dont think i know what to do? should i give her little hints that i think i like girls i mean i am so confused!!!!

daniellexxxx agony auntWhen you tell her make it clear that your not interested in her she should be good about and nothing should change thats if shes a real mate.

Just sit her down one day and say you dont like boys you perfer girls but not you as in her.

She should just say ok why havent you told me before if not give her time to get her head round it she may not approve, But then again shes your friend.

If she can't accept a choice that you've made then she is not your friend. If you can't tell her honestly about that part of you, then you need to wonder how much of a friend she is.

If you believe that she can be trusted, then you should tell her. You should find out if she has any feelings int a similar direction. If she doesn't, you need to leave it be. Just be her friend. Try not to let it get weird.
