I couldn't tell you (and still no-one has told me) what the cause of this was but... I was at the doctors getting a prescription renewed when I queried a small lump that was present in my lower abdomen only when I layed down. I had been on the pill for seven years and I found out I was 5 1/2 months pregnant. I had a regular period every month and I was not showing. Prior to that the only physical change in my body was enlarged and sensitive breasts. I had previously questioned my physician about my breasts and was told it was most likely "late development", I had been extremely premature and my growth pattern was different than most so I didn't really question this. I had even had an internal and blood tests at my yearly physical when I was probably at about 6 weeks and was not identified as being pregnant. I know my mother didn't show with me until she was around seven months. She had me a week after she started showing and I was 1 1/2 lbs at birth. Be careful and treat your body properly so if it does happen your baby will be safe and healthy too.

I was on the pill and still having periods AND told I couldn't have children and I still conceived my little boy so it isn't uncommon and can happen.
Although there are plenty of other reasons why this is happening to you either way you need to go to the doctors and have some bloods taken as something is going on with your body, pregnant or not you need to find out.
Good luck, let me know how you get on :o)

Only learned I was pregnant after going to the doctor b/c I was throwing up every morning. It happens. Go to the dr.

Being on the pill dose not mean you cannot get pregnant,
there are many things that can stop the pill from working such as :certain antibiotic use ,illness involving vomiting or/and diarrhea (both could cause lack of absorption),taking the pill at different time on different days and although you are saying you are still getting a period you could be mistaking it for normal bleeding you just have to ask yourself if "the dates fit, they last as long, you are useing as many pads or tampons and is the bleeding exactly the same as your usual period"?
again the more regular your periods are, the more reliable a sign of pregancy will be.
if you want to be more sure then i advise you to take a pregnacy test
