We used to be madly in love but as the years passed, things of course died down. We still loved each other and we've lived with each other for a year or so. Yesterday my boyfriend said he loves me but is not in love with me anymore and that he wants to focus on himself more. He said that he gave me all of his energy and felt that I wasn't giving much back in return. I have to admit he is right because I wasn't the best girlfriend and I stopped doing as much for him as I used to. We are both 19 years old. He said that he's been feeling like this for a week. I know he loves me deep down and I feel we can still work this out. What can I do? Please help, I really love him and I want to make up for everything I've done wrong to make him feel unappreciated and unimportant. I am losing the man I love because of my mistakes. Please help me... Reply to this Question Share |

Ok well I think what he really needs right now is some space. So tell him that you love him a lot and that you are sorry for not showing it as much as you should have, tell him you will give him the space he needs to think things through and that if he decides to give it another chance that you will make it up to him 110%. But for now allow him some space as it sounds like he needs it hunny. Goodluck.
