writes:I guess this is just a confession. I have been with my gf for six years. We are close and everything goes well. We communicate and work well together. Recently I met a girl at work that I have become infatuated with. I was not looking or asking for this. It just happened. However, she is married and I know that I can never be with her. At times I wish I could just tell her how I feel about her but I know that it is not a good idea. I will never act on these feelings, I will never break up her marriage I just wished I knew if she felt the same way. Does anybody have any similiar stories.

It's not a bad compromise - but is still a compromise nonetheless i.e. who wants to finish in second place and miss out on the big prize!? How long has she been married? Anything less than 3 to 4 years and you've probably not got a chance. Best way to capture the married lady is always for her to chase you. She can only start chasing you if you start running i.e. away from her! If you're just standing there admiring her then you're an easy kill and therefore represent no real value/challenge to her. Make yourself scarce, pursue other interests and keep her guessing. Don't be completely aloof though in case she forgets who you are and what you look like! Yours, FifthQuadrant.
