You are not extremely overweight. You are just heavier than what you are use to.
Men are attracted to women who are comfortable and confident in themselves. If you don't feel that way about yourself, then a man won't either.
That's why some overweight girls have a lot of guys because they are happy in their own shoes and their weight doesn't matter to them.
So if you don't like where you're number is now, devote yourself to losing the weight to making yourself feel comfortable. love yourself first and the men will follow.

if you meet a man and he likes you for you it shouldnt matter if you weigh 240lb. its whats inside that counts. im heavy and very unhappy with my weigh after having my daughter i got the baby blues and found it difficult to leave the house which ment i didnt do enough to lose the baby weight, even tho im large my bf has never let my weigh bother him and when you find mr right it will be the same for you.

First of all you are NOT extremely overweight!!! You are just heavier than you you used to be. If you calculate your body mass index for your height and weight you are classed as a healthy 24.5.
I have been in your position, at just under 5ft 4 I used to be 105lbs which made me a uk size 6 (us 4?). I was a divorced mum of two kids. I thought I looked good but looking back at photos now I was skeletal, looked like a teenage boy and rarely got looked at twice when I went out. I stopped smoking and rose to a uk 10-12, and wow the difference was amazing. I had boobs again, curves in the right places and got chatted up every time I went out, I even met my husband and we are still together 5 years later.
All men like different women, my husband says he wouldnt have looked twice at me when I was skinny and likes his women to be curvy yet his brother probably thinks Im 'fat' as he does like extremely skinny girls. Im now a uk 12-14 and yes I would like to drop maybe 10lbs but dont ever want to be skinny again, I dress for my shape and get mistaken for someone much less than my 40 years yet I think I looked older when I was painfully thin.
Draw on your positives, whether its your legs, boobs, shapely bum, hair eyes etc and start looking at yourself differently, men WILL find you attractive, especially if you raise your self-confidence x
